To sharpen the competitive edge of CPIC Group and cultivate high-profile financial talents, CPIC Group set up the Postdoctoral Research Center (“PSC”) in February 2004 with the approval of the Ministry of Personnel (Guo Ren Bu Fa No. [2003] 74) The PSC will focus on the study of fundamental, realistic and prospective subjects in China’s financial and insurance market.
The PSC will cooperate with the postdoctoral research station of Fudan University to jointly admit and cultivate post doctorates. First group of post doctorates were admitted in 2004. Now there are two post doctorates studying in the PSC.
CPIC Group has put in place the strategic objective of becoming a leading financial group with international competitiveness focusing on insurance business, and with sufficient capital, strict internal control, sound operation, excellent services and profit. PSC will play an important role in CPIC’s development of internationalization and diversification, and will enhance the group’s innovation ability and support its transformation..
