RESERVES
As security for the due performance of the obligations of theREINSURER under this Agreement the CEDANT shall retain apremium reserve at the rate set out in the SCHEDULE calculatedon the gross premiums credited to the REINSURER . The pointof time at which the said reserve is withheld and released is asspecified in the SCHEDULE . Where the reserve is withheld atthe end of each quarter or at the end of each half-year, the re-serve withheld for the corresponding quarter or half-year as thecase may be of the previous year shall be released, it being theintention that the CEDANT shall at all times have in its handsreserves in respect of the immediately preceding four quarters ortwo half-years as the case may be .
The CEDANT shall throughout the relevant period creditthe REINSURER with interest at the rate set out in the SCHED-ULE on any part of the said premium reserve subject to deduc-tion at source of such taxes as may be applicable according to thelaws and regulations of the country in which the CEDANT isdomiciled .
准备金
为了保证分保接受人履行本合同下的应负责任 , 分出人在支付给分保接受人的总保费中 , 按附表规定的百分率扣存保费准备金。上述准备金的扣存和返还时间均按附表规定。如果准备金是在每季末或每半年末的账单中扣存, 来年相应的季末或半年末账单中返还上年扣存的同期准备金 , 以使分出人手中经常握有一个年度的准备金。
分出人按附表规定的利率对整个有关时期扣存的准备金付给利息 , 并根据分出人所在国的法律和规则扣减应付的税款。
